DMCA Policy

At Bridgeville Senior Center, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and adhere to the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This DMCA Policy outlines the procedures we follow to address claims of copyright infringement that may occur on our website.

If you believe that your copyrighted material has been used on our website in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a proper DMCA Takedown Notice as outlined below.

1. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative and believe that any content on https://bridgevilleseniorcenterde.com infringes upon your copyright, your notification must be in writing and include the following information:

  • Your physical or electronic signature;
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including its location (URL) on our site;
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and a valid email address;
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

All DMCA notices must be sent to our designated contact:

Email: sudaninvest192@gmail.com
Subject Line: DMCA Takedown Request

2. Action on Valid Takedown Notices

Once a valid DMCA notice is received, we will:

  • Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material;
  • Notify the user, if applicable, that the content has been removed;
  • Provide the user with information about how to submit a counter-notice, if they believe the removal was made in error.

3. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that your content was wrongly removed due to a DMCA notice, you may send a counter-notification that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature;
  • A description of the material that has been removed and the location where it appeared;
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your area and will accept service of process from the original complainant.

4. Repeat Infringers

Bridgeville Senior Center reserves the right to suspend or terminate user access for repeat violations of copyright law.
